Town & Country’s Sewer Lateral Program
A residential sewer lateral is the sewer pipe that runs from your home’s foundation to the sewer main. The sewer pipes inside your home can become clogged or crack due to tree roots or other issues. In much the same way, the main sewer drain that leads all the way to MSD can break or clog, and that can be expensive to fix (upwards of $15k).
Thankfully, the community of Town & Country is part of St. Louis County, which does have a Sewer Lateral Program to help offset the cost of a broken sewer lateral line.
